Born in Quebec City, Andrée LaRoche is a self-taught painter whose universe is driven by color, energy, and freedom of gesture. She discovered painting in 2001, a passion that quickly became a true artistic language.

An instinctive colorist, Andrée LaRoche draws her inspiration from nature, light, the seasons, and the positive emotions that inhabit her. Through acrylics, her preferred medium, she works with material intensely, often with broad strokes of the palette knife, in a free and expressive movement.
