With Chalco, Sandra Veillette shapes a figure seated at the heart of a large circle, legs crossed in a peaceful pose. Its amber-toned beetle wings open as if to catch the light, while the circle surrounds it and holds it in balance. A serene work that invites reflection and contemplation.
