With La Rêveuse (The Dreamer), Sandra Veillette imagines a figure lost in her dreams, arms raised above her head and one leg lightly bent. Her dress of butterfly wings follows the curve of a deer antler, along which she seems to stretch as if waking from a dream. Between surrender and grace, the work evokes the gentleness of suspended moments.
