Isabelle Tellier

Hailing from Saint-Marcel-de-Richelieu, Isabelle Tellier creates works imbued with life. Animals, figures, plants, and fragments of nature become starting points for her, but rarely limitations: the artwork is built freely, guided by emotion, color, and material.

A graduate in visual arts from Cégep du Vieux Montréal, she works primarily with acrylic, paper, watercolor paper, and collage on canvas. Her visual language blends figuration and abstraction in expressive compositions where color and material bring the subject to life.

Her approach relies heavily on intuition and the joy of creation. She enjoys crafting some of her own materials, transforming paper, exploring textures, and imbuing her subjects with a sensitive presence. In both painting and sculpture, her creations embody this encounter between strength and fragility, with an emotion that speaks directly to the viewer.
