Isabelle Dolzy Céramique
Isabelle Dolzy is a Franco-Canadian ceramist whose creations bear the imprint of her Mediterranean origins. Already passionate about ceramics in France, she continued her training in Quebec at the Maison des métiers d’art de Québec.
The sea occupies a central place in her universe. Childhood memories, navigation, light on the water, open horizons and changing nature feed her imagination. Her pieces are inspired by water, the river, organic shapes, fish, animals, rocks and natural materials.
In her work, ceramics sometimes dialogue with wicker, driftwood or the stones of Charlevoix. Through her creations, Isabelle Dolzy offers a sensitive and poetic universe, where material evokes at once the sea, memory and the raw beauty of nature.
