Les Émaux de Diane Charuest

Les Émaux de Diane Charuest

Les Émaux Diane Charuest present the universe of an enamel artist whose work in enameled copper is nourished by color, textures and light. Born in Montréal and based in Québec since 1971, Diane Charuest has been exploring this technique since her first encounter with enamels on copper in 1973.

Her creations take the form of jewelry, accessories, paintings, decorative plates and small one-of-a-kind pieces. Inspired by art history, cultures, and the fauna and flora of Québec, she develops collections where nature occupies an important place, notably through birds, leaves and organic forms.

Each piece is designed and worked by hand, in a search for balance between color, material and delicacy. With Les Émaux Diane Charuest, enamel on copper becomes a luminous language, at once meticulous, sensitive and profoundly alive.
