Sylvie Savoie is a glass artist who explores color, light, and transparency as raw materials. A cartography technician by training, she has always been drawn to blocks of color, lines, shapes, and graphic symbolism.
Stained glass became a privileged form of expression for her, as it brings together drawing, technique, and image construction. From sketches, she traces outlines that gradually transform into luminous compositions, like glass puzzles where each piece finds its place.
Her work is based on traditional stained glass, copper foil, glass fusing, and grisaille techniques. Inspired by nature and the subjects she observes daily, Sylvie Savoie creates original and unique works where the intensity of colors dialogues with light.
