Vanessa Berthomé

Vanessa Berthomé is a Franco-British ceramic artist, a graduate of the Maison des métiers d'art de Québec. Her work is born from an intimate dialogue with clay, a material that allows her to return to the essential and create with slowness, presence, and sensitivity.
Inspired by the cycle of seasons, childhood memories, and the great movements of life, she shapes poetic works where past and present echo each other. Each piece carries a part of a story, a fragility, an emotion that the material gently reveals.
In her universe, ceramics become a place of memory and transformation. Her creations evoke childhood, the passage of time, choices, departures, and that part of the unknown that accompanies our paths.
